Abkürzung Erklärung
AWA Apparent Wind Angle, der scheinbare Windwinkel.
AWS Apparent Wind Speed, die scheinbare Windgeschwindigkeit.
BSP Boat Speed, this defines the speed in knots a boat can achieved based on Boat-Polar calculation. As BSP not include actual current or drift and therefore not necessarily identical to SOG or STW.
BTW Bearing to Waypoint. This will only be updated if navigational data (PGN 129284) is transmitted, typically together with cross track error (PGN 129283).
COG Course over Ground, der Kurs über Grund mittels GNSS Daten (GPS) ermittelt.
CPA Closest Point of Approach, die Entfernung zum dichtesten Punkt der Annhäherung.
DTW Distance to Waypoint. This will only be updated if navigational data (PGN 129284) is transmitted, typically together with cross track error (PGN 129283).
GLONASS GPS stands for Global Navigation Satellite System and is provided by Russia.
GNSS GNSS stands for Global Navigation Satellite System. It refers to any satellite constellation that provides global positioning, navigation, and timing services like GPS (USA), GLONASS (Russia), BeiDou (China) or Galileo (Europe).
GPS GPS stands for Global Position System and is provided by USA.
HDG Heading.
KN Knots, Knoten
MMSI Maritime Mobile Service Identity, eine weltweit eindeutige, neunstellige Nummer zur Identifizierung von Seefunkstellen.
ROT Rate of Turn.
SOC State of Charge of a battery.
SOG Speed over ground calculated via GNSS. Difference between STW and SOG shows current. If SOG greater than STW the current is with the boat. If STW greater than SOG the current is against the boat.
SOH State of Health of a battery.
STW Speed through Water. Difference between STW and SOG shows current. If SOG greater than STW the current is with the boat. If STW greater than SOG the current is against the boat.
TCPA Time to Closest Point of Approach.
TWA True Wind Angle.
TWD True Wind Direction.
TWS True Wind Speed.
VMC Velocity Made Good on Course. Formula is VMC = SOG * cos(COG - BTW). This will only be updated if navigational data (PGN 129284) is transmitted, typically together with cross track error (PGN 129283).
XTE Cross Track Error. This will only be updated if cross track error (PGN 129283) is transmitted, typically together with navigational data (PGN 129284).
