How to connect OpenCPN | Help

OpenCPN support all relevant NMEA0183 sentences or NMEA2000 PGNs and is the best open source plotter software for almost all platforms.

To add a connection to OpenCPN you need to open the settings menu and go to the tab "Connect" and choose "Add new connection". Enter the TCP/UDP details (from this page) and choose NMEA0183 or NMEA2000 mode for your preferred Wi-Fi connection from above.

Click OK and get back to the previous overview of all connections. Make sure the connection is activated by the check mark in the beginning of the line. If pairing was successful you will see a check mark ✅︎ in the Status column.
